Easyfeast is a service that sends a personal chef to your home to prepare meals for the week. At each visit, your chef will cook in your kitchen and make three family-style dinners customized to your household’s preferences. When they’re done, your fridge will be stocked with home-cooked meals, and your kitchen will be clean. You can schedule visits every week or choose a different frequency that works for you.

Our speciality is preparing nutritious meals that appeal to the whole family (not just the adults!) We love finding creative ways to help picky eaters get their vegetables. Our dishes are designed for dinner, but can also be great for lunch. We can accomodate a range of allergies and dietary restrictions - from dairy-free and gluten-free to Kosher and low-carb. If you're wondering if we can accommodate your cuisine preferences or dietary needs, please email us at hi@easyfeast.com.
-
We offer a robust menu that’s customized to your dietary needs and tastes - whether you prefer family-friendly, low-carb, picky-eater approved, extra clean, or something else. If you’d like to see a sample menu, share your email with us here and we’ll send one your way.

During each booking, your chef will prepare three family-style meals. Each meal is designed to serve 2, 4, or 6 people generously, depending on the portion size you choose. That means your fridge will be stocked with at least three nights’ worth of dinners—and in many cases, you’ll have leftovers to enjoy for lunch or additional meals.

Our chefs are experienced culinary professionals, with training from top culinary schools and restaurants. Our team includes chefs who have worked as private chefs for celebrities, are registered dietitian nutritionists, teach culinary arts, or have built their own specialty food brands.
In addition to culinary skill, we look for chefs who are warm, professional and able to make clients feel at ease. Every Easyfeast chef goes through a rigorous screening process, including a cooking assessment, reference checks, and a background check. We hold a simple but high standard: would we feel comfortable inviting this chef into our own home to cook for our family? We only move forward when the answer is a clear and enthusiastic yes.

Our service fee starts at $250 per booking. Read more about our pricing here.

We're able to deliver a high-end service at a reasonable price by asking our clients to be responsible for procuring their own groceries. (Don't worry, we'll give you a detailed shopping list!) That said, for a completely seamless experience, clients can pay an extra $45 and have their chef do all of the shopping and arrive with all of the groceries.
-
Grocery costs can vary depending on the number of portions you select and the types of meals you choose. On average, most clients spend between $70 and $150 on groceries per booking. Because our chefs reuse many of the same pantry ingredients from week to week, you’ll likely notice your grocery costs go down over time.

We will use whatever Tupperware you have. If you're wondering what types are best, here are our recommendations:
A set of tempered glass containers like these, because they can go straight from the fridge to the microwave or oven. There is some evidence that glass is the safest material for food storage, and they'll look really nice in your fridge too.
A set of plastic containers like these, because they are lightweight, seal easily and are microwave and dishwasher safe.

You do not need to be home during the service. We just recommend that you greet your chef the first time he or she arrives, so that you can show him or her around your kitchen and equipment.
-
Tiny kitchen, no problem! It does, however, need to be functioning. That means a working oven, stovetop, sink and refrigerator.
You also need to have the following basic cooking equipment: baking sheets, blender, food processor, can opener, casserole dish, chef's knife, cutting board, grater, measuring utensils, mixing bowls, peeler, pots and pans, spatula, tongs and a strainer.
Plus, make sure to keep the following supplies in stock: Tupperware containers (a bunch of them!), Ziploc bags, aluminum foil, parchment paper and cleaning supplies (e.g., dish towels, soap, paper towels, sponges.)

We can accommodate a wide range of allergies and dietary needs, including gluten-free, nut-free, dairy-free, and egg-free, as well as low-carb, Kosher, vegan, and more. We're a great choice for families managing allergies—since you’re doing the grocery shopping, you have full control over the ingredients, ensuring everything in your kitchen is safe. If you have specific questions or concerns, please don’t hesitate to email us at hi@easyfeast.com to confirm that we can safely meet your needs.

There is no need to tip your chef; the best way to recognize outstanding service is to leave your chef a great review in the feedback survey you will receive after each booking. However, you’re welcome to provide an additional cash tip for extraordinary service.
-
For one-off bookings, our service fee is non-refundable.
For our Feasters (clients who book weekly), we offer a flexible policy:
Cancelling service: You’re welcome to cancel your ongoing service whenever you need to - we simply ask for 3 weeks’ notice before stopping or pausing service.
Skipping weeks as needed: You can skip up to 3 bookings per season without penalty—just give us at least 3 days’ (72 hours) notice if you need to skip a week.
A “season” refers to a 3-month period, aligned with winter, spring, summer, and fall.
If you need to cancel due to illness or an emergency, we’ll do our best to reschedule within 7 days, subject to chef availability. Please note that last-minute cancellations may incur additional charges if groceries have already been purchased on your behalf.
-
Please reach out to us if you are interested in an alternate arrangement, such as an every-other-week schedule or more than three meals per booking. We’ll do our best to accommodate you.
