Spring Clean Your Life

Spring is a natural time to clear out - the clothes we haven't worn, the pantry items that have expired, the piles we've been meaning to deal with.

Why not apply that same energy to our lives?

We're taught that quitting is failure. But the most intentional people aren't the ones who grind through everything - they're the ones who regularly audit what's worth their time and energy, and let go of what isn't. The research backs this up: we're wired to hold on too long, mistaking "I've already invested so much" for a reason to keep going, and missing the chance to redirect our energy somewhere better.

So how do you know when to quit versus push through? Stop looking backward at the time and effort already spent, and look forward instead. Compare the likely future outcome of staying the course versus moving on - across your health, happiness, relationships, and time. If the outlook of continuing looks worse than starting fresh, that's your answer.

Spring is a good time to ask: what in your life deserves a fresh look?
